JAKARTA, KOMPAS--Nokia N95 yang akan diluncurkan pada pertengahan April 2007 merupakan produk baru. Semua fitur yang ada di berbagai ponsel dijadikan satu dalam Nokia N95, seperti kamera 5 megapixel dengan lensa Carl Zeiss, "built-in" GPS dengan peta Jakarta pada saat diluncurkan, serta fungsi multimedia lainnya.

Multimedia Experience Manager Nokia Indonesia, Fabiant Kayatmo dalam percakapan dengan Kompas, Jumat (23/3) menjelaskan, selain itu N95 punya fungsi "TV out" di mana kita bisa memutar video di N95 dan ditonton langsung di layar TV ukuran besar. Ini juga dapat dilakukan melalui WiFi dengan teknologi UPnP (Universal Plug and Play).

Dari sisi fitur, N95 mendukung teknologi A2DP, yaitu teknologi stereo Bluetooth. Pengguna N95 dapat menikmati musik, menggunakan headphone nirkabel.

Internal memory N95 relatif besar, 160 MB dengan eksternal memori 1 GB (microSD). "Tapi bisa ditambah sampai 2 GB," kata Fabiant didampingi Corporate Communication Manager Nokia Indonesia, Regina Hutama.

Dalam N95, ada fasilitas video centre, di mana pemilik N95 bisa melakukan download beberapa video dari YouTube, Reuters, yang bekerja sama dengan Nokia. Pemilik N95 dapat mengirimkan foto-foto dan video langsung ke Vox, juga mengirim foto ke flickr.

Kelebihan Nokia N95 lainnya adalah memiliki dual slide. Kalau digeser ke atas, muncul keypad. Kalau digeser ke bawah, muncul tombol khusus music player dengan posisi landscape, horisontal.

Jenis baterai yang digunakan di N95 ramping dan ringan tapi kekuatannya besar sehingga membuat N95 lebih ringan. Baterai BL5F baru pertama digunakan dalam produk Nokia.
